Heads Up

Heads Up

This week is focused on displaying crucial information to the players. We've implemented a chat, scoreboard, healthbars and playernames to make sure you have all the information you need. Let us know if you think we missed something!

Names & Healthbars

We've added names and healthbars that hover over all the runners, so you can easily see who's on their last legs. Both the healthbars and names can be switched off in the settings menu, for both the leader role and the runner role.

My scuttler took some damage :(

Chat

When you've just bombarded your friends with some meteors, or someone stepped on your carefully placed minefield, it's important to be able to rub it in their face, right? Every multiplayer game needs a chat, so we've implemented one. Players get their own color in the chat, based on their body color. We apply a super secret magic formula to make sure the colors are readable, though.

Just an everyday conversation.

The Scoreboard

A great tool when looking for banter and other things to say in the chat, is the scoreboard. After all, the most fireproof way to prove that you're the best player this game has ever seen, is by having your name sitting next to the number one when the scores are presented. The scoreboard is displayed between every round, and also used the colors used in the chat.

SMOrc420 has some catching up to do.

Thanks for reading, and see you soon!
